"Littlehampton Hall is a very popular community venue but the Board of Management has identified a need for a venue in the hills to allow local musicians to perform to a larger audience," according to Hall secretary Greg Ruckert.

"We also saw a need for a family safe, alcohol and smoke free venue to provide inexpensive entertainment for the community. For this to survive we will not only need the support of the community to come along and enjoy themselves but also the support of musicians who are interested in performing in the future."
Ticket prices are set at $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 to 16 and free for children under 10.. Tickets will be available at the door.
The first concert will be on Friday March 23rd and will feature a young group called CelestialDuo with support from some of their friends. Julia (studying at the Elder Conservatorium) and Jane (Marryatville High School) are part of Marryatville’s highly successful Concert Choir. As well as singing they will entertain on Double Bass, Hurdy-Gurdy, Violin and other instruments, performing a range of music from Medieval through Classical, Contemporary to Jazz and their own compositions.
Musicians interested in performing at future concerts are encouraged to come along or contact Greg Ruckert on 0402318183 or email the Secretary.
The plans will see the toilets brought up to an acceptable standard as well as being available to the general community. They will also be more accessible to Hall users and cater to disabled people.
The changes will also give the Hall greater capacity and make it more versatile, catering to a greater number of community users.
